American Honda Motor Co. has released its first inclusion and diversity report, a wide-ranging look at its diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and the composition of its work force, consumers and dealerships. Here are some highlights.

  • 15% are women; 2030 target is 32%
  • 18% are ethnic minorities; 2030 target is 30%

  • 27% are women; 2030 target is 33%
  • 28% are ethnic minorities; 2030 target is 35%

Asian American: 5%
Hispanic/Latino: 5%
Unspecified: 2%
2 or more races/ethnicities: 1%
Native American: Less than 1%

In 2021, nearly 44% of American Honda’s vehicle sales were to multicultural customers.
