L.A. auto show: Toyota, Hyundai, Genesis EVs, hybrids on tap

“I think the auto show gives consumers that opportunity to be like, ‘What is my reality? What am I looking at here?,’ ” Caldwell told Automotive News. “Because if I am in market in the next few years, it’s like, ‘Well, I’m going to be forced to buy one anyways, this is the way things are going. Should I be considering one now, rather than in 10 years?’ ”

Here’s what’s expected to be at the show, which opens to the public after the media preview on Thursday, Nov. 17.

Genesis: The luxury brand is showcasing its Electrified GV70 to the public for the first time. Genesis also is debuting a “global concept” vehicle.
