The vehicles were donated by six Twin Cities-area dealerships: White Bear Mitsubishi and the Bear Lot, Friendly Chevrolet, Miller Auto Plaza, Gilleland Chevrolet, Volkswagen of Inver Grove, and Apple Autos.
“I’m really happy. I’ve been kind of out of a car for a little over a year now,” Destiny Hill, who received a Chevrolet Equinox, told TV station WCCO in Minneapolis. “So it’s really exciting. This is going to be able to help me get my kids in some sports.”
